I'm not that trainer that grew up an athlete or always made fitness a priority. It was not until I had my first son that wellness became important. I realized that I wanted to be the best version of myself for this tiny human.
The struggle began. Cycles of fad diets, quick fixes, you name it, I've tried it. All of the progress I made with these methods were temporary. I'd lose weight only to gain it all back.
My second son, three years later, gave me perspective. I now had a toddler and new baby to care for on top of trying to get myself back. I was determined to figure out a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle that would not make me miserable to sustain.
I started my research with nutrition and wellness. Once my diet was "clean" it was a getaway to fitness. I decided to make health and wellness a real priority in my day to day routine, and I could genuinely feel and see a difference in my body, energy levels, and mood. I realized how much I truly enjoyed exercising and fueling my body properly, and I decided to pursue this passion and get certified in personal training, so I could help others look and feel their best as well.
